TinyPomo is live: my first app on the App Store
Today is a big day for me. TinyPomo, my first iOS app, is now on the App Store.
You can get it here: TinyPomo on the App Store
What is TinyPomo?
TinyPomo is a Pomodoro focus timer. You pick a session, you focus, and you finish.
But it does one more thing. Every session you finish earns credits. You spend those credits building a Moon base.
The tagline sums it up: focus that builds something.
It works on iPhone and iPad.
Why I built it
I like the Pomodoro method. Short blocks of focus work well for me.
But most timers just beep at the end. Then nothing. I wanted a reason to finish the session, and a reason to come back.
So I made the timer feed into something that grows. Your focus turns into a real place: a base with power, oxygen, water and crew.
I also wanted it to be kind. There's no streak-shaming and no guilt notifications. Just short, protected focus sessions.
I built TinyPomo alongside my day job. It's been a long road from first idea to the App Store, and I'm proud to finally share it.
Key features
Here's what's in the app today.
Focus missions. Run 5, 25 or 45 minute sessions and bank credits when they end.
Build a Moon base. Spend credits on modules like a solar array, greenhouse, water extractor and comms tower. There are ten modules in all.
Run your colony. Recruit specialists, launch resupply rockets, and keep power, oxygen, food and water in balance.
Stay on track without unlocking your phone. A Live Activity and the Dynamic Island show your countdown. There are also three home-screen widgets.
A story to uncover. Under the lunar ice is a silent beacon. Each session reveals a little more about the Pathfinders who left it, and why they went quiet.
Real places on Mars. Pick your Mars landing site using NASA-sourced imagery. You compare solar, water ice, terrain and minerals before you commit.
Movement Momentum. If you choose, you can connect Apple Health to earn credits from walking and recorded runs.
Postcards. Make a postcard of your colony and share it anywhere. It's made on your device.
Privacy first
Privacy was not an add-on. It was part of the plan from day one.
TinyPomo has no accounts, no logins and no ads. The App Store privacy label says Data Not Collected.
Your colony postcard shows progress, systems online and streaks. It never shows task names, exact times, health data or any identifiers.
It runs offline. No accounts. No tracking.
Pricing
TinyPomo is free to download.
The full Moon campaign is free. There's no time limit and no paywall.
There are two optional extras. Each is a one-time purchase of $4.99. The App Store charges in your local currency, so the price may look a little different where you are.
- Mars Program. The story moves to Mars. Build a settlement and find the second signal.
- Command Suite. Adds Work Orders and shift planning, so you can plan your focus before you start.
No subscription. No ads. No consumable currency.
What's next
The story doesn't end at Mars. Future chapters, called Beyond Sol, are planned. They're not in the app yet, but the Moon and Mars are laying the groundwork.
